A sumptuous bed set, with a deep mattress and a luxurious feel. The soft mattress case encloses a high-count pocket spring unit with generous layers of natural fillings, including curled hair, cotton and wool. Curled hair is the king of fillings, giving extra and very fine “spring” to any mattress. It is hand-tufted and side stitched for excellent side support and minimal movement of fillings. The base is sprung edged, using an open coil spring unit with re-enforced sides for a long life, with a generous layer of cotton. It is available in three levels of support. On zipped pairs it comes with 4 zips to cover every turning combination, as well as a “snake” pad to cover the zip. The flag stitched handles have extra padding and the base has piping for an excellent finish.
